The Shipyards in North Vancouver, I’ve found, is the perfect place for a photoshoot - so many options! The area includes Lonsdale Quay, Polygon Gallery, a massive pier with city views for days, has loads of public spaces offering a great mix of seaside, industrial, historical & modern.
Moody Weather
The rain mostly held off for us but it was cloudy enough to give off a bit of a mood. We were going for a 80’s Parisian Vogue meets West Coast Editorial and the mixed bag of weather day gave us a mix of beautiful diffused light as well as moments of strong directional light. Enough to keep me and my camera on our exposure triangle game.
